A Dedication to Style: Lilly’s Jubilee Celebration at Parsons

Posted November 19th, 2008 by Lilly Lover

Lifelong Lilly Lovers were in their element this month, as a chic crowd filled the Sheila Johnson Design Center at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City. With over 700 rsvps received for the event, everyone from Fashionistas to Fashion Press were there to celebrate the highly anticipated 50th Anniversary of Lilly Pulitzer. Displaying a multitude of dresses dated back to 1959 throughout the prestigious gallery at 66 Fifth Avenue, the night not only highlighted the artistic creativity of the designer, but also the tremendous influence that she has had on luxury fashion for decades. With pink champagne in hand and dancing-worthy tunes played on a limited edition Lilly Pulitzer piano from Steinway & Sons, the night was nothing short of incredible. Be sure to check out Lilly’s Jubilee collection at in the pink – a gorgeous assortment of vintage inspired prints with a retro flair that is as luxurious as it is fashion forward! Need we say more?
